This journey began with a simple moment — showing my daughter a digital planner I designed for myself.
Her reaction? “You should sell it, Dad.”
At the time, I laughed it off. But that small comment kept echoing in my mind.
For years, I had been developing a personal project that demanded structure, creativity, and a massive amount of digital content. As a single dad working a full-time job and dreaming of financial independence and early retirement, I knew I had to get extremely organized to turn that dream into something real.
Like many of us, I’d tried all kinds of planners — Moleskines, paper notebooks, to-do apps — but nothing gave me the feeling of real productivity.
I wanted something tactile, colorful, familiar. I wanted digital tools that felt as intentional and satisfying as traditional pen-and-paper planning — but with the flexibility of modern technology.
So I created it.
Armed with years of experience in Photoshop and Illustrator (and a crash course in Adobe InDesign), I built the very first Ordino Digital Planner.
My daughter — my toughest and most honest critic — said, “You should sell it.”
That one comment turned into a brand.
